About Page Customization Guide


Introduction:

In this guide, we'll walk you through the process of customizing your website's About page. The About page is a crucial element of your website, providing visitors with essential information about your brand, mission, and values.


Accessing the About Page:

  1. Navigate to Pages: In the left-hand menu of your website's backend, locate and click on "Pages."

  2. Find the About Page: Scroll through the list of pages until you find the About page. You can either click directly on the word "About" or select "Edit" to access the page editor.


Customization Steps:

  1. Headline and Subheadline:

    • Replace the default headline and subheadline with your own content. Simply click on the text fields to edit them.
  2. Image Replacement:

    • Remove Existing Image: Click on the "X" icon in the upper right corner of the image placeholder to remove the default image.
    • Upload New Image: Click on the image placeholder and select "Upload Files" to choose an image from your computer. Once uploaded, click "Select" to add it to your About page.
  3. Page Copy (Description):

    • Customize the Page Copy: Edit the description or page copy to provide a brief overview of your brand, story, or mission. You can delete the existing filler text and replace it with your own content.
  4. Button Customization:

    • Edit Button Link Text: Click on the pencil icon next to the button and modify the text of the button to reflect your desired call-to-action, such as "Schedule a Consultation" or "Learn More."
    • Specify Button Destination: Choose where you want visitors to be directed when they click the button. You can link it to a page within your site or an external URL.
  5. Updating Changes:

    • Click on the "Update" button on the right-hand side of the editor to save your changes.
    • Preview Your Updates: Open your website in another window or tab to see how your customized About page looks to visitors.
